USA Utah hiring Southern Utah Rep

USA Wrestling Utah is a non-profit organization that manages amateur wrestling in the state of Utah. We are looking for someone that is driven and detailed oriented that can help USA Wrestling Utah continue to grow in all departments in the Central/Southern Utah area.

Job Status: Full Time (must be primary)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm (Saturdays are required during tournament season which is about half of all weekends where Monday will be your day off instead of Saturday)

Location: Central/Southern, Utah (must be willing to come to the office as needed which is in Orem).

Pay: This position will have a base salary with benefits. Salary is negotiable.

Start date: August 1, 2023 (start date is flexible)

Job Description

The Central/Southern Utah Rep for USA Wrestling Utah will oversee all things Central and Southern Utah. This position requires great organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. You must be able to meet deadlines and communicate with employees and customers in a timely and efficient manner. You must be able to pass a background check and get a USA Wrestling Leader card. 

Specific duties for this position include but not limited to:

  • Grow gear sales in Central/Southern Utah
  • Manage and/or provide support for all tournaments in the Central/Southern Utah area
  • Grow Central/Southern Utah USA memberships
  • Run year round National Team practices
  • Willing to travel and coach on National Dual Teams and attend Fargo in July
  • Be a voice for Central/Southern Utah to USA Wrestling Utah at all levels from youth to high school to college. 
  • Run the gear booth at assigned tournaments
  • Add additional tournaments and/or series or leagues in the Central/Southern Utah area
  • Attend and support all USA Wrestling Utah tournaments in all areas.
  • Learning and running trackwrestling.com for tournaments
  • Take assignments as directed by Executive Director to support other full-time employees when needed
  • Work Saturdays during tournament season.
  • Be organized and pay attention to detail
  • Customer service must be a priority and must answer calls, emails and texts in a reasonable time

Required Skill Sets

  • Patient, customer service oriented
  • Good people skills
  • Must have good knowledge of wrestling to be able to run National Team practices
