Geneva Gray is the Women's Wrestling Director and Women's National Development Coach for USA Wrestling Utah and is excited to help grow Utah Girl's Wrestling. Geneva has a long history in wrestling and coaching at the highest levels. Geneva joined us here after being the training partner and sister of 6x World Champion and Olympic Silver Medalist, Adeline Gray. Geneva has coached and wrestled at the National level and been part of Team USA as a training parter for the World and Olympic Games. 

USA Wrestling Utah Membership Required!

This is for all girls of all levels. We have designed this practice to introduce basics like body control, movement, fundamental moves, conditioning, and grow the love of the sport. All wrestlers can benefit from these practices. They will be hosted once a week ran by Geneva Gray or another USAW Utah coach when schedules conflict. These are all girl's practices so your daughter will have a chance to wrestle with girls from all over the state.

This practice is open to all girls with USAW memberships 3rd-12th grade. If you are concerned about your daughter having a partner please email Coach Geneva Gray to inquire about partners or bring one with you.

• Come ready to wrestle and learn with a good attitude.
• If you disrupt or mess around during practice, you will be asked to leave. We are here to get better.
• Make sure you have a water bottle to use during practice.
• Use the bathroom before practice or during breaks.
• No street shoes on mats.
• No food or drink on mats.
• Do not play with equipment (weights, bikes, bags, ropes...)

• Please stay off mats unless you are asked to help with practice.
• NO STREET SHOES ON MATS.
• Let us coach your wrestlers and you be their supportive parent.

• No yelling or screaming at wrestlers during practice, if you do, you will be asked to leave.

Murray High School Wrestling Room

These Tuesday night practices are geared towards youth wrestlers. It will be slower paced with a fun and technique focus. All girls with USA Wrestling cards are welcome and it is totally free to attend. We encourage you to bring teammates, friends, and siblings. All Girls 2nd grade and up are welcome. New wrestlers are welcomed!

These Monday night practices are geared towards high school athletes. It will be faster paced practice with a drilling focus. This will be an invite only practice with a $125 fee for the spring season. If you placed top 4 in state, competed for the Jr Duals team or are an All American, you are encouraged to attend.  If you do not automatically qualify,  and are interested in this elite practice you will need to apply.
