Important items for 2025
All wrestlers must wrestle in the grade they are in. Wrestlers can not wrestle in a higher grade than they are in at Youth Super State
If you have braces you must wear a mouthguard
ALL GIRLS must register and sign up in the Girls division only. Any wrestler signed up, can only wrestle in one bracket.
Onsite weigh ins: All weigh ins will be conducted onsite. We will offer multiple weigh in options so you can weigh in the same day as competition if you need. You will have the option to weigh in the night before or you can weigh in the same day if you don't want to come to the venue early. Schedule is posted below.

Weigh in schedule
ALL WEIGH INS ARE ONSITE, NO EXCEPTIONS
You must weigh in with a competition uniform (singlet or fight short/rash guard) or shorts and a shirt.
Thursday, February 6th
- 4:00pm-6:30pm (all divisions)
Friday, February 7th
- 8:30am-9:30am: Prek, K, 3rd & 4th grade wrestlers
- 12:30-1:00pm: 1st & 2nd grade, Girls Prek-4th grade
- 6:30pm-7:00pm: only for 5th-9th grade boys and girls that didn't weigh in on Thursday
Saturday, February 8th
- 7:00am-7:30am: 6th grade & 7th-9th grade boys only
- 11:15am-11:30am: 4th-9th grade girls & 5th grade boys

Friday, February 7th, 2025
(on Friday the following divisions wrestle: Prek, K, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade Girls Prek-k, Girls 1st-2nd & Girls 3rd-4th grade)
- 10:00am: doors open to the public
- 11:00am: Prek & 3rd grade all weights start wrestling
- 12:30pm: K & 4th grade
- 2:30pm: 1st & 2nd grade all weights start wrestling
- 4:30pm: Girls Prek-k & Girls 1st-2nd, Girls 3rd-4th grade start wrestling
Championship matches will be wrestled before consolation rounds in order to get to the finals matches quickly. All finals matches will be wrestled on the stage and highlighted. Divisions will wrestle until conclusion throughout the day. You can expect 2-4 hours of wrestling from when your division starts to finish pending how big your division/bracket is.
Saturday, February 8th, 2025
(on Saturday the following divisions wrestle: Girls 5th-6th grade, Girls 7th-9th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade & 7th-9th grade)
- 8:00am: doors open to the public
- 9:00am: 7th-9th grade boys start wrestling
- 11:45pm: 6th grade boys start wrestling
- 1:00pm: 5th grade boys start wrestling
- 2:30pm: Girls 5th-6th & Girls 7th-9th grade start wrestling

Admissions
We will be selling admission tickets at the door for $10 for one day and $15 for two day.
If you want to sit in the corner and coach your athlete you must have a USA Wrestling Leader Card. By having the USA Wrestling Leader card you get free admission as well.
Coaches Pass

Eligibility
Only Utah residents can participate in Youth Super State. 9th grade boys that participated with their High School after Christmas are not eligible to wrestle in Youth Super State. 9th grade girls can participate in the girls division as long as their High School season is over. You can not participate in a youth event and then go back and participate with the high school.
Awards
Prek-4th grade boys and Prek-4th grade girls: Trophies for 1st thru 6th place with 1st place receiving a 4-foot trophy & custom singlet.
5th-9th grade boys and 5th-9th grade girls: Custom Championship belt and singlet for 1st. Six inch custom medals for 2nd-6th place.
Entry Fee & Registration Deadline
- Registration fee of $40 until January 28th. Starting January 29th the price will increase to $45. Deadline to register is Tuesday, February 4th at 2pm.
- Late registration fee is $65 for anyone registering after the Tuesday deadline until noon on Wednesday.
- Wrestler may enter only one weight class and must compete in the grade division they are currently in.
- All wrestlers must register on www.trackwrestling.com
Format & time periods
Double elimination tournament with no true second matches. Period length will be 1.5-1.5-1.5 for all age groups except Prek-2nd which will be 1-1-1. All consolation periods will be 1-1-1.

*We reserve the right to combine, adjust, or delete any weight classes with 3 or fewer registered wrestlers in order to create matches. We will always make sure the weight difference is in line with USA Wrestling recommendations before we combine weights.
Table Help
We are in need of table help for 14 tables. Each table needs to have one worker at all times. The compensation for each table is $200 per table (you must work both days). If you would like to run a table please contact Jaron Jensen (Jaron.utahwrestling@gmail.com)
Tournament Shirts
You can purchase your tournament shirt on trackwrestling.com when you register for the tournament. We will also have some shirts onsite to purchase but once we sell out we are out so purchase online to be safe!
