Utah as a state will be sending an Elementary to the Heartland National Duals in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Elementary Team:

There is a team there is a $65 fee. This fee helps cover a portion of the team fee and for a Coach to attend. All other costs are on the wrestler. Parents/wrestlers will need to book their own flights.  

Elementary Team - 6th Grade and Down:

50,55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,100,105,112,120,130,140,160

This year's team will be chosen based on results throughout the Fall/Winter Season, with head-to-head matches strongly emphasized along with other tournament placings. Some of the big tournaments that will be considered when choosing the team are the Salt Lake Slam, Beehive Brawl, 1A-4A JH State, Northern State as well as National/Regional placements, previous Dual Teams and other local events. If you would like to be considered for a spot on the team, please fill out the interest form below no later than January 10th, 2026. By filling out the form, it does not guarantee a spot on the team but does guarantee that your wrestler will be considered for a spot.

Where multiple kids are very close, we can/will hold wrestle offs for those weights as needed.

Thursday, April 2nd: Weigh-ins from 4:00pm to 8:30 pm at main arena.  More info will be sent to team leaders prior to the event.
Teams do not have to weigh in together.

Friday, April 3rd:- Doors open at 6:30am and wrestling begins at 8:00am - 5:30pm approximate.
(We will wrestle in pools to determine the bracketing for Sunday)

Saturday, April 4th: Doors open at 6:30am and wrestling begins at 8:00am - 2:30pm approximate.
(Championship brackets will be wrestled to completion) We are usually done with awards and all brackets by 3:00pm.  The airport is 15 mins from venue.  Plan accordingly.
