There are three different options for athletes when purchasing your USA membership. Please look below at all three options. 

Step by step instructions on how to purchase your USA Athlete Membership:

1. Go to www.usawmembership.com
2. Create a free account (you will create an account under the parent's name and then create profiles for your wrestlers)
3. Go to profiles and "claim" your wrestler's USA profile or if your wrestler has not had a USA membership before you will create a new profile. You will create or claim a profile for all your wrestlers and have them under your account. 
4. After you create or claim all your profiles go to "memberships" to purchase your USA Athlete Membership. 
5. Follow instructions on the page to purchase your card. 
6. If you have trouble purchasing your card please text or call Jeff Newby at 801-358-4933 and he will help you through the process. 

Utah Full Athlete Membership Year: September 1 through August 31

Cost: $65

The Full athlete membership is the recommended membership for all athletes. This membership gives you the ability to enter all events regardless of style or time of year and gives you a better insurance than the limited membership.

Membership benefits for the Utah Full Athlete Membership include:

• Gets you into the local and national events
• Secondary, non-duplicating sports accident insurance provided by an outside carrier. There is sports-accident supplemental benefits provided to USA Wrestling members who participate in limited non-sanctioned events. This insurance coverage includes a deductible, co-payment provisions and other conditions of the policy (details will be provided to club administrators); coverage includes practice, participation and even some travel
• Gets you coaches and officials that have been background checked
• Has a subsidized travel program for advanced wrestlers
• Each member gets email notification for all Utah tournaments, information and announcements
• Can qualify for National Teams and receive significant financial aid
• The privilege to compete and take advantage of events, camps, clinics, international exchanges, and club programs
• Can upgrade to the High Performance Membership

Utah Limited Folkstyle Athlete Membership Card Membership Year: September 1st through August 31st

Cost: $20

ONLY VAILD FOR FOLKSTYLE COMPETITIONS IN UTAH – FOR REGIONAL AND NATIONAL COMPETITION, A FULL MEMBERSHIP IS NEEDED. This membership includes $50,000 in secondary sports accident insurance.

Membership benefits for the Utah Limited Folkstyle Athlete Membership Card include:

• Secondary, non-duplicating sports accident insurance provided by an outside carrier. There is sports-accident supplemental benefits provided to USA Wrestling members who participate in limited non-sanctioned events. This insurance coverage includes a deductible, co-payment provisions and other conditions of the policy (details will be provided to club administrators); coverage includes practice, participation and even some travel.
• Each member gets email notification for all Utah tournaments, information and announcements.
• Cardholders can upgrade their cards to the full or high performance cards and can qualify for national teams and significant financial aid.
• Have an organized organization with clear rules and management. This will grow participation, decrease frustration, increase fair play, qualify for state tournaments, etc. It creates a system where athletes are members of an organization that has rules. 
• Increases protection for tournament host.
• USA wrestling has full time professional staff that can be a resource to programs on liability, tournament organization, tournament promotion, athlete promotion, etc.

Utah High Performance Athlete Membership Year: September 1 through August 31

Cost: $130

This membership gives you the ability to enter all events regardless of style or time of year.

• Preferred weigh in line at regional and national events
