Millard ended up 3rd place at last years High School State tournament. The Eagles return 9 state placers and another 10 state qualifiers. They come into the season as one of the top teams in the 2A Division, maybe even the best. They are a senior heavy team with 12 and leading them, are last years state Champions, Calun Whitaker and Van Bray. 

The real question is, can they beat Altamont this year? With so many seniors, returning state placers and qualifiers, its definitely something they can achieve. They are for sure a top 3 team at state, but who thinks they can win a team title this year?
