Champions Wrestling

Brock Morris has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for the week of  March 20th, 2017.

Brock is an 8th grader at Mapleton Jr. High and wrestles for Champions Wrestling Club.   Brock was voted by his teammates at Champions as a team captain this year and was given the Caleb Williams Award.  Brock loves having great practice partners that push him every day.  Brock is a 2x jr. high state champion, won his first Super State title this year and was invited to wrestle at the Jr. High All-Star Duals.

Brock’s love of wrestling started while working with his favorite wrestler, Dusty Hone, where he learned the importance of hard work.  Brock loves wrestling for Champions which provides him with great coaches like Brooks Robinson, Craig LaMont, Taylor LaMont and Grant Lamont.  He has learned a lot in the year he has been with the club. He has a lot of support from all of his family. He is a very hard worker in everything he does and is a great example to those around him.

Off the mat Brock is a 4.0 student and is a great brother to his siblings.  He is a mountain biker, loves to take his four wheeler to Sand Mountain and enjoys jeeping and snowmobiling. This year he has learned to weld from his grandpa.  Brock is a great kid that has learned a lot from the sport of wrestling.
