Riverton High School

Dylan Gregerson has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for March 6th, 2017.

Dylan started wrestling in the seventh grade in the Riverton Tacktic 3-Style club with Coach Ludlow and Dwayne Henry. He loved the competition and enjoyed his wrestling matches. He earned second place at the Utah Youth Super State Tournament the next year. Coach Dwayne Henry encouraged him to go to Regional Cadet & Freestyle Tournaments where he would place in the top six. When he was in ninth grade he joined the Varsity Team at Riverton High school with Coach Crump. He has had many coaches and wrestlers that have taught and helped him develop into a great wrestler.

Wrestling has helped him make friends all over the state and country. Wrestling has helped him learn sportsmanship, to respect coaches and referees and helps him stay physically fit. He placed 8th at Fargo National Junior Greco Tournament last year and earned first place finish this year as the Utah 5A State Champion at 138 pounds.

Wrestling has taught him that one should set goals and work hard to achieve them. Dylan has maintained a 3.8 grade point average all through his wrestling years. He enjoys going on trips with his family, follows the Falcons football team, skateboarding, and hanging out with friends.

Congratulations Dylan for your example, hard work, and achievements!
