Will Korth has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for the week of August 20th, 2016.

Will is from Morgan, Utah and has been wrestling since he was 4 years old. It is his favorite sport, and he has had much success.

Will had a great year last year. He won the 3A Jr. High State Championship title, got runner-up at Utah Youth Super State, and took home the gold in both styles at the 2016 Utah State Freestyle and Greco tournaments. Will had the opportunity to travel with several dual teams this past year. He wrestled with Team Utah in the VAC in Virginia where he went 8-2 earning All American Bronze. He also traveled to Council Bluffs, Iowa with Team Utah, contributing to their 1st place win in the Platinum division. Will wrapped up his wrestling this year at the Cliff Keen West Regional Tournament where he placed 3rd in Folkstyle, 3rd in Freestyle, and 5th in Greco. His brackets were one of the largest and toughest brackets in the tournament, and he wrestled very solid.

Outside of wrestling, Will enjoys playing football, snow skiing, water skiing, riding his motorcycle, cliff jumping, and really anything adventurous or active. He is a hard worker, does very well in school, and is fun to be around. He loves spending time with his friends.

Will has many hero's in the Utah wrestling community. He has been lucky to be coached by some of the best in the state and looks up to these men not only as coaches and wrestlers, but as good men he wants to grow up to be like some day. Will is looking forward to the 2016-2017 wrestling season to start and is already working hard to get ready for it!
