Mason Christiansen has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for June 6th, 2016.

Mason has been wrestling since he was 5. He has enjoyed success every step of the way. This success has not come without heart ache, loss and lots of sacrifice. As every good wrestler knows that is just part of the process. Some of Masons accomplishments include a 3.8 GPA, multiple state championships in every style. If you add them up they total somewhere around 25. Mason won every super state title possible and hopes to continue his success in high school next year. Mason passed up the opportunity to compete for the Cadet national dual team and at Fargo because he is anxious to try and make a name for himself in the Bingham High football program as a freshman this year. Mason has his share of talent but his gift truly is his work ethic. He is well aware that there is no easy button and the hard way is usually the best way. He is continually being recognized and complimented on his politeness and respect.
