Kyler Christiansen has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for the week of June 6th, 2016.

Kyler is a happy go lucky fun loving kid. He has two older brothers that he looks up to. His brothers set a great example for him on and off the the mat. Unlike his older brother Mason that cried at practice until he was 12, Kyler can rarely be seen without a smile on his face when he wrestles. He truly loves to wrestle. Kyler won his second straight super state title this year. He has a goal to pass up his brother Mason's 6 Super State titles and he is well on his way. Kyler won his first triple crown of state championships this year and has aspirations to win many more. Kyler also plays football. He was the defensive end on his team this year and helped lead them to a second place finish in their league. When he is not playing sports Kyler likes to hang out with his friends and generally just act like a goof and make everyone around him laugh. His parents joke that he is their favorite son.
