Chase Trussell has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for May 23rd, 2016.

Chase Trussell is a sophomore, who proudly wrestles for Morgan High School.He started wrestling at a young age, and his love for the sport has continued to grow throughout the years.

Some of Chase's most recent accomplishments as a sophomore include...taking 5th at the Rockwell Rumble, and and 2nd at Super State. He is also the 2016 195lb. 3A state champion, as well as the 2016 220lb. cadet freestyle and greco state champion. He looks forward to traveling to Fargo, North Dakota ans York, Pennsylvania with Team Utah this summer.

Chase would like to thank the family, coaches, friends, and teammates who have helped him get this far, with a special shout-out to his dad, Brady and Coach Dustin Rock. They are always there pushing, cheering, teaching, and supporting! Chase's ultimate goal is to move on and compete at the collegiate level. He plans to continue to push himself, work hard, learn, and do everything he can to attain that goal.

Outside of wresting, Chase also plays football and baseball for Morgan High. Some of his hobbies include hunting, camping, and friends. Chase is very blessed to have such amazing friends!
