Andrew Jensen has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for the week of April 20th, 2016

Andrew is a sixth grader at Hobble Creek Elementary in Mapleton where he is a strait E student. He started wrestling when he was in kindergarten. He recently won the 2016 USA Folkstyle National Championship in Iowa. He also won Super State, Northern State, The Salt Lake Slam, and helped the Mapleton Jr. High wrestling team win the Team State title. Just this past weekend, Andrew competed with Team Utah at the Heartland Duals in Council Bluffs, IA, and earned the All American Award by going undefeated. Elementary Andrew plans on wrestling in college and being a world champion.

In addition to Wrestling he plays football and is a standout middle linebacker and fullback. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and anything out doors.
