April 19-20 is the Greco and Freestyle State Championships presented by S&S Enterprises of Moab, Inc and we are excited to have some excellent competition!
Register by Sunday, April 14th to have your wrestler's name included on the back of the tournament shirts!!! Registration deadline is Thursday, April 18th at 4:00pm so register today!!

This year the Hampton Inn which is about 3 minutes away from the venue will be the host hotel. We encourage you to take advantage of the deal they are offering of $89/night. You must book by April 8th to have this rate guaranteed though so make sure your booking today!! The link to book the hotel is below.
Greco State Championship
We will wrestle Greco on Friday. All wrestlers will weigh in on site at the Legacy Events Center. Fly, Bantam, Intermediate, and Cadet will weigh in at 11:30am on Friday and will begin wrestling at 1:30pm. Novice, Schoolboy, Junior, and Open division wrestlers will weigh in at 2:00pm and will begin wrestling at 3:30pm (Novice, Schoolboy, Junior and Open can weigh in at 11:30am if you are at the arena). All wrestlers who weigh in on Friday will not have to reweigh for Saturday. The same weight will be used for both days. All Greco brackets will be completed on Friday.
Freestyle State Championship
Saturday will be the Freestyle State Championship. All Freestyle brackets will wrestle on Saturday. This year again we will also feature an All-Girls divisions. Weigh ins for Intermediate, Novice, Girls and Junior Divisions will begin at 7:00am with wrestling beginning at 8:30am. Fly, Bantam, Schoolboy, Cadet and Open Divisions will weigh in at 11:00am and begin wrestling at 1:00pm. Remember if you wrestled Greco you do not need to weigh in for Freestyle on Saturday.
National Team Qualifier
The State Championships are also the qualifying tournament for the Utah National Team. Schoolboy, and Cadets who win 1st place in their weight qualify to represent Utah as a member of Team Utah at the national dual tournaments.
