Kael Theobald has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for the week of April 6th, 2016

Kael is a 2nd grader at Goshen Elementary. He is a straight "E" student and excels at whatever he does. His favorite subject is science. He is very social and loves to follow his brother around with their friends and cousins. He loves to ride his motorcycle, deer and rabbit hunt, and shed hunt with dad. Kael loves to fish on Boulder and catch lizards. He will go to any tourney if he can stop and look for lizards! His favorite food is crab. Kael's name is fitting even though his family had no previous experience with wrestling. Kael had so much energy in winter his dad had to do something to harness his activity levels, so he began wrestling with his brother Colton. His Brother would beat up on him everyday and it made him better. He just took to it and loves it. He recently placed 2nd at Postseason Nationals in Vegas. He also placed 3rd at superstate in 2016. His favorite move is a cradle any way he can do it. He says he wants to learn to do the flying squirrel. Kael has a goal of winning a superstate championship and placing in Reno worlds someday. He never wants to give up!

He has many good influences around him. Kael is blessed with many gifted wrestlers in his weight that live close by that are making him great. He is lucky to be coached by Nate Loveless and Jeb Clark from Payson Pride and Craig Lamont and Spencer Mortimer from Champions Wrestling club. The different minds, perspectives and many partners have helped him grow leaps and bounds.
