Ben Anderson has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for March 9th, 2016.
Ben is an outstanding wrestler with many accomplishments to be proud of. He is a four-time state champion, All American, and in addition to that has maintained a 3.97 GPA. Be is an All State academic and has committed to wrestle for Duke University.
Ben likes the outdoors, flyfishing, wakeboarding and horseback riding. He loves being in the mountains. He also enjoys traveling to see different parts of the country and hopes to see more of the world. He wrestles for Pleasant Grove High School and comes from a family with two older sisters and an older brother and he has two nephews and two nieces. He is active in his church and plans on serving a two year mission. He is very motivated to do things the very best he can and is very competitive, (especially with his older brother, to whom he gives a lot of credit for his success). Ben is very caring about other people and concerned for their well being. He is a very good sport and shows it on and off the mat.
