Brayden Bosh has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for the week of February 24th, 2016

Brayden Bosh is 6 years old and is a Kindergartener at H.M.K elementary in Moab, Utah.  Brayden often exceeds the state educational expectations, and his teacher says she is always looking to come up with new ways to keep Brayden challenged in school.

Brayden's interest in wrestling was sparked by watching his cousin and bigger brother wrestle. This is now Brayden’s 2nd year of wrestling, and he has competed and placed in many tournaments in Utah and Colorado.   His biggest achievement in wrestling so far was taking 1st place at the Utah Youth Super State Tournament on February 5th, 2016.  (A True Underdog Story) After being seeded last in his bracket of 17 he came back and took first by winning all his really tough opponents which he respects. In fact, after most of his matches he told his Dad how tough the other kids were.

Brayden is a very active boy he is always doing something.  When he is not wrestling he enjoys soccer and football.  He has one older sister that is a cheerleader in high school, a younger brother that is 2 years old, and 2 older brothers; one that is 18 years old that also wrestled through his high school years, and one that is 9 years old that is also a very talented and tough wrestler.

Brayden’s youngest brother was sick during the Super State Tournament and was hospitalized in Primary Children’s with a very serious virus.  Brayden told his Dad before he started wrestling that day that he was going to win each match and take Super State for his sick brother.

Brayden has a huge heart and a very gentle disposition when he is off the mat. He even asked if he should give his super state trophy to his little brother after he won. On the mat, he has the heart and will of a great champion.  We expect great things from Brayden Bosh.
