For the first time ever Utah is hosting the Utah Junior High State Dual Championships at Corner Canyon on Saturday the 20th. Throughout the year teams wrestled in regions of 4 or 5 with the top 2 from each region coming together this weekend to decide which Junior High team is the best in the state. Eight teams will wrestle in an 8 team bracket with the first round being single elimination to decide the top 4 teams.

Wrestling begins at 10am with Mountain Crest vs. Layton and Wasatch vs. Pleasant Grove. At 11:15am Fremont will wrestle Moab and Westlake will wrestle Mapleton. Semifinals are slated to begin at 12:30pm with placement matches at 1:45pm. This event will be wrestled alongside the High School Super State so admission will be charged.
