Dawson Bundy has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for January 20th 2016.

Dawson has had a love for sports ever since he was a toddler, he would watch his big brother play in his games and beg to join him no matter what he was playing. He is a competitive kid who loves to challenge himself, so wrestling is the perfect fit for him. He has been wrestling his 3 brothers his whole life, but officially started the sport 3 years ago. He has developed a great love for it and has improved greatly over the last 3 seasons winning many tournaments and achieving his goal of placing at Super State last year. He is looking forward to this season and has set some big goals for himself.

When he is isn't wrestling he loves to play football. Him and his band of Westlake brothers have brought home 3 championships in the 4 years they have played together. Dawson also plays Rugby and loves fishing and anything outdoors. If he doesn't have a game or tournament you will most likely find him at the lake with his dad or fishing buddies. He also loves to joke around and play pranks on people, he is always making everyone around him laugh and is the life of the party. He is a great leader and example to his family and team mates.
