Kedrick Coonis has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for December 14th, 2015.

Kedric Coonis is a senior at Uintah High School. He has always had a love for wrestling since he was young. He competed with Team Utah in New Jersey, won Super State and several other tournaments in his youth. In High school he has been regional and divisional winner, state placer for 2 years , and a State Champion. Kedric has had the honor to wrestle in the All-star Duals the past three years. He is also, ranked in the Beehive top 25.

Kedric has a big heart and gives it everything he has on and off the mat. He is a tri- athlete. He plays Quarterback and Catcher when it isn't wrestling season. In his spare time he has served  on Student Council, Hope Squad, and in his church quorum. He is an example to fellow wrestlers and peers. Kedric's moto in life is to Never Give up!
