Jate Frost has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for September 2nd, 2015.

Jate Frost will be a freshman wrestling at Union High School at the 106 pound weigh class. He has won 2 1A/2A/3A Jr High State Titles. He placed 2nd at the Utah Youth Super State in 2014 and 3rd in 2015. He was invited to wrestle at the Utah Jr. High All-Star Dual in 2015. He placed 2nd at Utah freestyle state and 5th at Greco state.

When Jate is not wresting, rodeo is one of his other interests. Jate won the Utah State Jr High bull riding, saddle bronc, 2nd in the bare back riding, reserve all-around titles. At the National Jr. High Finals held in Des Moines Iowa, Jate placed 6th bull riding, 10th saddle bronc and 21st in the bare back. Utah won the National Team title and Boys Team Title.

Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups and one for the high school and above age group which will include high school, college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.
