With a new season right around the corner we wanted to take a look into the upcoming season. The upcoming year looks to be a great one with many great changes and additions. USA Wrestling Utah will once again look at ways to grow the sport and everyone that is in need of help is encouraged to give us a call and let us come help. 

The 2015-2016 season will kick off on September 5th with Fall League at the Utah Valley University Wrestling room. Fall League continues to grow and become a great way for all wrestlers to get instruction from the UVU coaches as well as prepare for the season. 

USA Wrestling Utah will once again be taking many sponsored teams to different events. Here is a list of the events that USA Wrestling Utah will be sponsoring and holding wrestle offs for in 2015-2016

• Clash Before Christmas Teams: December 18-19 at the Legacy Center (4th-9th grade)
• Heartland Duals: April 10-12 in Nebraska (K-6th grade)
• USA National Elementary Duals: May 13-14 at the Legacy Center Utah (Elementary)
• Schoolboy Duals: June 8-12 in Indianapolis, Indiana (for those born in 2002-2003)
• Cadet Duals: June 14-18 in York, PA (for those born in 2000-2001)
• Junior Duals: June 21-25 in Tulsa, OK (for all those in high school)
• Cadet & Junior Nationals: July 16-23 in Fargo, ND 

USA Wrestling Utah will also be bringing many new events to Utah this year including the following:

• Utah Rec League State: December 21st @ Legacy Center
• New Year's Duals: December 30th @ Legacy Center
• Utah Junior High State Duals: January 2016
• USA National Elementary Duals: May 13-14

Other important dates for the upcoming season include:

• Junior High & General Members Meeting: September 17th
• Western Preseason Open: October 24th @ Legacy Center
• Utah Hall of Fame Banquet: November 3rd @ UVU
• Clash Before Christmas Duals: December 18-19
• Clash Before Christmas Duals Division B: December 22nd
• Youth Super State: February 5-6 @ Legacy Center
• Utah Junior High State Duals Championship: February 20th
• Utah Greco & Freestyle State Championships: April 22-23
