Utah traveled to Pocatello, Idaho today and wrestled in the Western States Greco Dual tournament. Teams from Idaho, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Arizona, Hawaii and Nevada were all part of this event which featured 19 total teams. 

Utah started in pool rounds wrestling Oregon and won 61-5 then beat Arizona 67-5 to enter the Gold pool. In the Gold pool Utah beat Idaho 50-17, then New Mexico 60-13 and finally California 67-9 to capture the Gold. 

Utah had several wrestlers going undefeated including; Stockton O'brien 5-0, Brandon Meikel 5-0, Kade Evans 5-0, Jaxon Cole 5-0, Taylor LaMont 5-0, Kyle Evans 3-0, Jaron Jensen 5-0, Johnny O'hearon 5-0, & Damian Trujillo 5-0. 

Utah had a second team which competed and had two wrestlers go undefeated; Zak Kohler 5-0 and Logan Jensen 5-0

Tomorrow Freestyle action starts at the Holt Arena in Pocatello at 9am along with the Middle School Folkstyle.
