Wrestlers, coaches and families,

It has always impressed me how close-knit and supportive the wrestling family in Utah has been.  When one of our own experiences a tragedy, we are there with love and support.

I’d like to introduce you to Dallin Henrie.  He has been wrestling with the Cedar High School wrestling team for 3 years.  He will be a Senior this coming year and we hope he will continue to wrestle for the team.

Last week, as he and his father were returning from working in St. George to Cedar City, a tragic accident occurred.  The truck they were traveling in drifted, then rolled twice, killing his 43 year old father, Ryan. Dallin had a punctured lung and some severe bruising, spending several days in intensive care and another in the hospital before going home.

Ryan had recently changed careers and returned to school.  He had one year under his belt, studying to be a school counselor.  Ryan and his wife Becky have 5 children, with their oldest son on a LDS mission.

This accident has left the family with some large medical expenses for Dallin’s care.

We are reaching out to the wrestling family of Utah to ask for support for this family.  An account has been set up at State Bank of Southern Utah. If you bank at SBSU, you can call in and have them transfer from your account. If you don’t bank at SBSU, you can take a donation into the bank or mail it to:
