Brandon Closson earned All-American status at the Cadet Greco-Roman National Duals going 8-0 over the past two days in Pennsylvania. Other notable performance went to Ryan Hansen at 4-1, DJ Cohen went 7-2 and Brock Hardy went 3-1.

Wednesday was the first day of competition where Utah dropped their first dual to Ohio 2 43-32 but then came back to beat North Carolina (56-25), Colorado (50-31) and then got revenge on Ohio 2 by a score of 43-31. The win over Ohio gave them a true second dual in which they lost to Minnesota 53-24. 

Thursday Utah wrestled four more duals to determine placement. They lost a close one to Texas 41-40, then lost to Indiana 44-37, beat Florida 50-29 and then won their last dual 40-38 to place 13th. 

Tomorrow, Friday, starts the freestyle competition and will run through Saturday.
