Marco Herrera has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for April 29th, 2015.

Marco Herrera has been wrestling since he was 3 years old.  It is his greatest passion in life.  He is a great student and when he is not on the mat he enjoys watching wrestling, fishing, camping, and kendama.  He also enjoys spending time and playing with his siblings.  Marco appreciates the great coaches that have helped him to become the wrestler is today and looks forward to continued growth with Coach Dean Moody.

Marco took home the state title in both Freestyle and Greco this past weekend in the schoolboy division. He is an outstanding wrestler.

Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups, and one for the high  school  and above  age group  which will include high  school , college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.
