Cole Eldredge has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for March 18th, 2015.
Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups, and one for the high school and above age group which will include high school , college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.
Cole is a senior at Monticello High School. He recently became the school’s second individual 4x State Wrestling Champion and was selected as the Most Outstanding Upper Weight Division Wrestler at the state tournament for the second time.
Cole comes from a long line of wrestlers. His Grandad, Dad, uncles, older brother, cousins, and nephews have all wrestled and have earned many state championships over the years. Two of his cousins (The Musselman’s) were also on top of the podium this season for Monticello. This has been a lot of fun for the whole family.
Besides wrestling, Cole also loves to play football. He was a team captain and was honored as an All-State player this past season. He also loves the outdoors, practical-jokes, family and friends. Cole is not only a great athlete for Monticello, he is also one of the Buckaroo’s biggest fans. Whenever possible, he is supporting MHS athletes.
Cole will be going to school in St. George in the fall.
