Ladd Holman has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for March 11th, 2015.
Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups, and one for the high school and above age group which will include high school , college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.
Ladd is excited to be chosen as the Athlete of the Week. He is a 6 year old who wrestles for Juab Wrestling Club. His greatest wrestling accomplishments have been winning Super State 2014, Freestyle State 2014 and the Beehive Brawl 2015. Along those lines, his biggest disappointment is that he didn’t finish very well at Super State this year. This has made him more determined to work hard for next year.
His wrestling goals are to “wrestle his hardest and to have fun” and “win or lose, learn from every match”. He enjoys all sports, especially football and soccer but none as much as wrestling. He likes to say that there is no wrestling season because it is always a good time to wrestle.
