Team Utah Elementary Team will be traveling to Council Bluffs, Iowa to the Heartland Duals on April 10-12th to compete in a folkstyle dual tournament. There are expected to be over 40 Elementary teams competing for the title of who's number one. To compete as a team in this dual competition all wrestlers must be from the same state, there are not allowed any all-star teams from multiple states. 

Team Utah will be holding wrestle offs for this team on March 5th at the Utah Valley University Wrestling room. The deadline to request a wrestle off is February 26th. This is for 6th graders and below and you must email Jeff Newby (Jeffreynewby@wrestleutah.com) to secure your spot in the wrestle offs. If you do not email Jeff Newby then you will not be allowed to wrestle off. 

USA Wrestling Utah will be paying for the $800 team entry fee but all other expenses will be the responsibility of the athlete. USA Wrestling Utah will coordinate carpools and hotels and help organize the overall trip.

• Friday, April 10th: Weigh-ins 5-8pm
• Saturday, April 11th: Wrestling begins at 8am
• Sunday, April 12th: Wrestling begins at 8am
