River Wardle has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for October 8th 2014.

Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups, and one for the high  school  and above  age group  which will include high  school , college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.

 River just started his 6th grade year at Providence Hall Charter School in Herriman. He is a natural leader and is always trying to make people laugh! He does really well in school and as of now he is getting straight A's! He takes school seriously and works really hard to keep his grades up throughout the year. He really prides himself on getting good grades. 

Rivers wrestling accomplishments include:
Amarillo Nationals 2011 4th Place in Folkstyle
Utah Superstate 2013 & 2014 3rd Place in Folkstyle  
Beehive Brawl 2014 2nd Place Folkstyle
He just made Team Utah and is preparing to travel to the Virginia Duals in December.

 Rivers goals for this year are to take 1st place at Superstate and to really work hard on correcting some of his bad habits! He also wants to be more consistent at wrestling to the best of his ability in every match. River really has a love for wrestling and enjoys being part of a team. He enjoys being on Team Legacy and feels that all the boys are part of our family! He is a very social kid and loves having a ton of "brothers!"

 His other love is Football. He just started his 3rd year playing for the Herriman Mustangs. He plays receiver and corner and truly loves the game! He also enjoys hanging out with all his friends.
