182 POUND PRESEASON RANKINGS

After a long delay here are the 182 pound preseason rankings. Coming in at #1 is Senior from Salem Hills, Jacob Armstrong. Jacob is a 2x state champion and in no doubt is the top guy to start the year and possibly the top guy in the state at all weights. Two time state runner up Will Lang takes the #2 spot and will look to push Jacob for that number 1 spot. In the 5A division Will should be the guy to beat. 

Rumble placer and 3x state champion, Rylee Foy from Altamont comes in as #3. Rylee has wrestled this off season and will look to get a shot at Armstrong and/or Lang this year and move into the top 2. Number 4 goes to McCade Cox who had a crazy state finals match which ended up with both wrestlers getting awarded first place. Cox from Gunnison beat Dalton Harmon, one of the state's best, so he has the talent to knock off the top guys.

3A state runner-up Trevor Ottenshcott from Desert Hills takes our #5 spot. Trevor had a solid year and will look to follow that up with a great year in his senior season. #6 goes to 4A's Logan Jake Neick. Jake placed 6th at the state tournament last year in a tough weight class. 

Desert Hills has a great problem; they could have two tough wrestlers in the same weight and both make our top 10 to start the year. Ethan Del Toro placed 3rd at the state tournament last year and his teammate Ottenshcott could be his toughest challenge to overcome to be a state champ this year. Ethan is ranked #7 to start. #8 goest to South Sevier's Brock Bastian. Brock placed 3rd in the 2A division at 170 and for now we have him moving up to the 182 pound division. 

Viewmont's Jordan Bagwell comes in at #9 after placing 5th at state in the 5A and Tryler Greenhalgh from Juab who placed 5th in the 3A last year rounds out our top 10 in the 182 pound preseason rankings.
