Beginning today (Wednesday, August 20th), USA Wrestling memberships for the 2014-15 season will be available for purchase online at www.usawmembership.com. This includes Athlete, Coach, Officials and Booster Club memberships. Purchasing a membership now will allow members to receive a full year of membership benefits from USA Wrestling.

The dates of all 2014-2015 memberships sold in August will become active (in terms of benefits of membership) on September 1st, and will remain valid through August 31st, 2015. All USA Wrestling memberships purchased after September 1st will be valid from the date of purchase through August 31st, 2015.

When purchasing a USA Wrestling membership, a person is becoming part of a vibrant and growing wrestling community which continues to offer outstanding opportunity and service to its members.

USA Wrestling membership has been growing steadily in all areas, with all-time records expected to be set in almost every category for this year. For example, at this time, total membership (which includes athletes, coaches, officials) for the current season reached 225,081 members, already a new record before the membership year has ended. 

This is at a 10% growth rate, an indication of the increase in programs available to members. In addition, USA Wrestling set new records so far this year with 4,464 chartered clubs and 2,138 sanctioned events.
