The Ohio All-Stars came to Utah on Saturday, August 2nd and wrestled some of Utah's bright young stars. The Ohio team is a team comprised of wrestlers from Ohio and surrounding states that travel and wrestle throughout the summer.
Utah came up big with some great wins including John Manning defeating Jacob Shoop who was in the 9th grade last year and was a Michigan High School State qualifier. John was leading 3-2 late in the match and secured the fall. Tyson Humphreys squared off against 5X Indiana State Champion, Trey Lane and came out with a 7-2 victory. Zack Johnson wrestled Kentucky State Champion Spencer Carpenter and finished the match with a win by fall. Complete results are posted below:
