Brady Farnsworth has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for March 26th, 2014.
Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups, and one for the high school and above age group which will include high school , college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.
Brady is a Junior at Altamont High School, where he is a very good student and averages a 3.7 GPA.
In Jr High he was a 1-3A State Champion. Brady's record this year was 44-7, he went undefeated at the Panguitch and Manti tournaments. He has won the 1A High School State tournament all three years he's wrestled in it, and will be looking for his fourth title next year. Brady really enjoys wrestling, and works really hard in the wrestling room and in the offseason.
After he graduates, Brady is planning on serving an LDS mission, and then he wants to attend college where he plans to wrestle.
Brady is also a part of Altamont's varsity football team, playing both sides of the football as a Running back and Safety. He also enjoys Baseball. Aside from athletics, he really enjoys the outdoors, specifically hunting, camping, and fishing.
