Our boys' national team coach was selected to officiate at Olympic Trials!

It is no surprise that Utah is sending a number of athletes to compete at Olympic Trials come April.  Sage Mortimer, Marlynne Deede, Brooklyn Hays, Dylan Gregerson and Taylor LaMont are all going to be fighting for a spot on the United States Olympic Team hosted at Penn State!

This year Utah will not only be sending athletes to compete, our very own, Dwayne Henry was selected as one of the nation's top officials! Dwayne, USA Wrestling Utah's Men's Director and National team coach has earned his selection as a referee at Olympic Trials.

Dwayne is a veteran to high level officiating and is doing an incredible job on the whistle while developing our Utah athletes. He has been a staple at the US nationals, challenge tournaments, and world team trials. It is an incredible feat to be selected to officiate at this level with some of the best the USA has to offer. To achieve this, officials must prove themselves at a number of levels and events. Dwayne is consistently regarded as a top official in the nation, and will be honored with his nomination to his second Olympic Trials. Help us congratulate Dwayne on this selection and honor his skills, hard-work, and dedication to the sport of wrestling!

Thank you for all you do here in Utah and all the work you put in to be great at your craft. Utah, the officials association, and wrestling are lucky to have you!
