Payson boasts a rich tradition of pride and success in its wrestling program, thanks to the contributions of several past coaches. Coach Jeb Clark, the latest addition to this lineage, is determined to uphold the program's legacy. We are thrilled that he has taken the reins for the upcoming season and eagerly anticipate engaging duals and tournaments under his guidance.
The transition from 5A to 4A, alongside Uintah, adds an element of uncertainty to the rankings, clouding the picture of the top team in 4A. However, this shift undeniably sets the stage for an intriguing team race that will capture our collective interest.
With influential leaders like Shurtleff and Theobald paving the way, there's no doubt they will make a lasting impact in the 4A category this year. The team is poised for success, and we look forward to witnessing their achievements on the wrestling mat.
Will this be a team we will see at the top come February?
