Riverton’s women’s team has a number of experienced wrestlers returning to improve on their state appearances from last year. Their state qualifiers and placers are as follows:

• Mina Trinh (105 lbs., Jr.), state placer: Trinh is a returning state placer who is looking to improve on her 5th-place finish from last year
• Bella Butterfield (110 lbs., Sr.), state placer: Butterfield is a returning state placer who is looking to improve on her 4th-place finish from last year.
• Jacey Hilton (115 lbs., Sr.): Hilton is a returning state qualifier who is looking to make a big jump this year.
• Isabella Reese (130 lbs., Jr.): Reese is a returning state qualifier who is looking to make a big jump this year.
• Amber Cruz (140 lbs., Jr.): Cruz is a returning state qualifier who is looking to make a big jump this year.
• Elena Holker (145 lbs., Sr.): Holker is a returning state qualifier who is looking to make a big jump this year.

The team is under the direction of Coaches Cali Davis and Catherine Carranza. Davis has a long history helping the women’s program at Pleasant Grove. Carranza is a newcomer from California looking to help the team thrive this season.
