Canyon View girls wrestling is returning a number of state placers and qualifiers, including state champions Julia Kay and Tilisa Matakaiongo. Kay went undefeated in her freshman year and is looking to do the same this season. Matakaiongo is now a 2x state champion. The other state placers are:
- Ellie Jensen - 3rd place
- Gwendaline Gardiner- 6th place
- Addison Rushton- 6th place
- Kelsey Diane Weaver- 6th place
- Maitae Cardenas- 3rd place
With these state champions and state placers returning Canyon View is in good standing to push for the team title at state. They have a young and powerful team.
