The Fremont girls wrestling team is looking to build on its success from last year, when they finished 7th in the state. The team is led by a strong group of returners, including:

• Kinlee Brandley (100 lbs.): Brandley is a senior who is a two-time state qualifier.
• Kenzlee Scoffield (105 lbs.): Scoffield is a junior who is a returning state qualifier.
• Jacee Ross (105 lbs.): Ross is a senior who is a two-time state qualifier.
• Miley Kranendonk (110 lbs.): Kranendonk is a junior who is a returning state qualifier.
• Paedyn Knight (120 lbs.): Knight is a senior who is a three-time state qualifier and a 4th-place finisher in 2022.
• Rylee Bradshaw (120 lbs.): Bradshaw is a sophomore who is a returning state qualifier.
• Brooke Deeter (120 lbs.): Deeter is a  who is a returning super state champion and a Team Utah member. She is a dominant wrestler who is difficult to beat.
• Lacie Rice (125 lbs.): Rice is a junior who is a returning state qualifier. She is a tough and aggressive wrestler who is not afraid to mix it up.
• Kaitlyn Worthley (130 lbs.): Worthley is a senior who is a returning state qualifier. She is a quick and technical wrestler who is always looking to score points.
• Emma Bohn (135 lbs.): Bohn is a sophomore who is a returning state qualifier. She is a tough and aggressive wrestler who is not afraid to mix it up.
• Mckaybree Price (140 lbs.): Price is a sophomore who is a returning state qualifier.
• Daislyn Nordmann (155 lbs.): Nordmann is a senior who is a returning state qualifier.
• Lailah Davis (170 lbs.): Davis is a junior who is a returning state qualifier.
• Maci Smith (170 lbs.): Smith is a sophomore who is a returning state qualifier.
• Elizabeth Hunt (190 lbs.): Hunt is a senior who is a returning state qualifier.
• Hannah Bird (235 lbs.): Bird is a senior who is a two-time state qualifier.

The team also has a number of talented newcomers, including:

• Sophie Eastman (lbs.): Eastman is a freshman who placed at super state.
• Brooke Deeter (120 lbs.): Deeter is a freshman who is a returning super state champion and a Team Utah member.

The Fremont girls wrestling team is under the direction of Coach Cody Storey. The Fremont girls wrestling team is a young and talented team that is poised for a successful season. The team has a strong group of returners and a number of talented newcomers. With Coach Storey leading the way, the Fremont girls wrestling team is a team to watch in 2023.
