The Davis High School Darts girls wrestling team is looking to build on their success from last season, when they finished as the state runner-up. The team returns several key wrestlers, including two-time state champion Kristina Kent (100 pounds) and state runner-up Alejandra Martinez (135 pounds).

Kent is a junior who is looking to defend her title in 2023. She is a dominant wrestler who is always a contender for the title. Martinez is a junior who is also looking to win her first state title. She is a tough wrestler who is always looking to improve.

In addition to Kent and Martinez, the Darts also have several other wrestlers who are capable of placing at state. These wrestlers include:

• Sadie Caldwell (105 pounds): Caldwell is a junior who placed 6th last year.
• Emma Branto (110 pounds): Branto is a junior who is a state qualifier.
• Catelynn Bingham (145 pounds): Bingham is a senior who wrestled for Taylorsville last season.

The Darts are under the direction of head coach Malia Roundy.
