The Syracuse girls wrestling team is looking to build on their success from last season, when they finished as the state runner-up. The team returns several key wrestlers, including state champion Emily Ball (110 pounds) and state runners-up Ashlyn Packer (170 pounds) and Payton Gines (100 punds).
Ball is a junior who is looking to defend her title in 2023. She is a dominant wrestler who is always a contender for the title. Packer is a senior who is looking to win a state title. She is a tough wrestler who is always looking to improve. Gines is a sophomore who is looking to get that state title. She is a dynamic wrestler with a drive to succeed.
