The Wasatch Wasps girls wrestling team is looking to build on their success from last season. The team returns several key wrestlers, including state placers Marabelle Brown (120 pounds), Regan Heywood (138 pounds), and Kate Bird (170 pounds).
Brown is a sophomore who placed 5th in state last year. She is a talented wrestler who is always improvingHeywood is a junior who placed 6th in state last year. She is a talented wrestler who is always working hard. Bird is a senior who placed 4th in state and won divisionals. She is a dominant wrestler who is always a contender for the title.

The Wasps are under the direction of head coach Hailey Corona. Corona is a current senior level wrestler who has been coaching and advocating for women in wrestling for a long time. She is a passionate coach who is dedicated to helping her wrestlers succeed.
