The Salem Hills Skyhawks girls wrestling team is looking to build on their success from last season, when they finished eighth in the 5A state tournament. The team returns several key wrestlers, including state champions Jocelyn Hepler (190 pounds) and Paisley Nelson (135 pounds).
Hepler is a three-time state placer who is looking to defend her championship title this upcoming season. She is a dominant wrestler who is always a contender for the title. Nelson is a state runner-up who is also looking to best her previous performance. She is a technical wrestler who is always improving.
