Stansbury High School Girl's Wrestling Team Preview

The Stansbury High School girls wrestling team is an experienced and up-and-coming program. They are coming off a successful 2022-2023 season, in which they ended up at 4th in state as a team.

The team is led by head coach Codie Miller, who is entering his third season with the program.

The team returns a number of key wrestlers from last year's team, including:

  • Addison Vancott (120 lbs): A junior state champion
  • Alize Acosta (170 lbs): A senior state placer
  • Angie Aguilar (235 lbs): A senior state runner up
  • Jayde Solipo (235 lbs): A senior state placer

The team is also returning a number of talented veterans this year, including:

  • Avarey Dortch
  • Mallory Matravers
  • Brookelynn Speers
  • Dakota Dortch
  • KacieJean Nicholes
  • Abigail Acosta

The Stansbury High School girls wrestling team is a team to watch in the 2023-2024 season. They have the potential to be one of the top teams in the 4A classification, and they will be looking to make some noise at the state tournament.
