USA Wrestling Utah will be offering two locations and dates for the coaching clinic this year. This is in an effort to help limit travel and make it more accessible for the coaches of Utah.  Coach Geneva Gray will host these clinics to help any coaches that work with girls.  This will be geared towards high school age, but club/youth coaches are encouraged to attend. This is for head coaches, assistant coaches, volunteer coaches or those looking to get into coaching.

Information we will cover:

- Helping your athletes chose a weight class and to maintain it.

- Techniques that are more beneficial for females. Positions to avoid or limit to protect your female athletes.

- How to build a team culture.

- How to create a practice plan.

- Safeguarding yourself and your athletes.

- USA Wrestling Memberships.

There will be time for questions and answers, but sending them ahead of time is also encouraged.  Coaches will be on the mats trying techniques and different skills.

Date: October 14th

Time: 10am-3pm

Location: Northridge gym

Coaching Clinic at Canyon View High School

Date: October 21st

Time: 10am-3pm

Location: Canyon View High School Wrestling Room

Cost:

1 coach = $150

2nd coach = $75 ($225 total)

3rd coach = $50 ($275 total)

4th-6th coach= $25 ($300 total)
