This last weekend we had 3 Utah wrestlers who qualified to wrestle in the 2023  U15 Pan-Am Team Trials event at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our athletes representing at this event were Riker O'Hearon, Harvey Walgren & Jaxten Bowler.  All 3 of these wrestlers prequalified to compete at this event to earn their opportunity to compete for a chance to represent the United States of America in the Pan American Championships hosted in Panama City, Panama this fall. All wrestlers represented Utah very well and we are proud of their hard work, determination and desire to strive for greatness. USA Wrestling Utah welcomes home 3 All American wrestlers from this event.

USA Wrestling Age-Level World Team Trials and National Championships shall be limited to U.S. citizens. 

National Team - Team Selection Criteria 

Only the following individuals may participate as competitors in the 2023 U15 Pan American Team Trials:

All competitors must be U.S. citizens. U15  age athletes (Born 2008-2010)

Eligible athletes in the U15 division must be prequalified to compete.

*Wrestlers that represent Team USA at the Pan-American Championships will compete in BOTH styles.

Males: 

Top 8 from 2023 U15 Nationals (Las Vegas) – either style

Top 8 from 2023 16U (Fargo) – either style

Top 8 from 2023 Junior (Fargo) – either style

Top 3 from 2022 &/or 2023 Kids Nationals – either style
