This year we will be taking Team Utah to the Freestyle & Greco National Dual Championships for 14U & Juniors. We have had some great teams over the years and are very excited about this one for 2024. To be a part of the 14U or Junior National Dual Team, we will have a qualifier. The qualifier will be held on March 26th, 27th, April 2nd, April 3rd & April 10th, 2024. Different weight classes will be scheduled between those dates. (If your weight is scheduled on a different date you will be notified) To make sure you are signed up for the qualifier, you need to register online at the link below just like any other tournament. The registration deadline will be 24 hours before your particular qualifier.

Wrestle offs will be held between Skyridge HS & Bingham HS in the wrestling room on the dates for your wrestlers weight class. (dates listed below) The cost is $30 for participants, must weigh-in prior to the wrestle off. The fee will be covering Certified USAW official fees, trackwrestling fees & team shirts if you make the team.

Required Deposit: After we complete wrestle-offs and your wrestler makes the team. There will be a Non-Refundable Deposit of $160 due within 24 hours after you make the team to secure your wrestlers spot. 

14U Weight Classes: 71, 77, 83, 87, 92, 97, 102, 106, 110, 114, 119, 125, 130, 136, 149, 165, 187, 250 

Junior Weight Classes: 100, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157,165, 175, 190, 215, 285 

WRESTLERS WILL BE ALLOW TO DOUBLE BRACKET

Weight Allowance:  +2lbs for 14U,  +4lbs  for Junior  Division

(Weigh-ins will be onsite for wrestle-offs) NOTE: Weight allowance will only be for wrestle offs. Wrestlers will need to make scratch weight at the competition.  Junior Division ONLY will get +4lbs for 2nd Style at the duals.

On the night of your qualifier, you will wrestle both styles unless you only choose one. It will be single elimination unless you’re in the finals. Finals will be best 2 out of 3.

Seeding Criteria:

Brackets with 3 or more wrestlers will be seeded as best as possible.

Wrestlers that are returning, State Champions, Placers,  Regional  Placers, Returning Dual Team Members, All Americans, National Champions will earn points toward earning their seeds in their bracket for this qualifier. 

6 Points - Returning National champ (FK, FS, GR)

5 Points - Returning All American  (FS & GR) 

4 Points - Returning All American (FK - USAW & Virginia Beach Only)

4 Points - Returning National Duals Team Member. 

4 Points - Regional Champion (FR & GR)

3 Points - Regional Placer (FR & GR)

2 Points - High School/Super State Champion

1 Points High School State Placers/ Super State Runner-Up

Please make sure to enter your seeding criteria data when you register. If you do not enter it their is no guarantee that you will receive those points. If you qualify for multiple points please use the highest value for your wrestler.
