Christmas Clash Duals Wrestle Offs

Wrestle offs will be held at the Skyridge wrestling room. The cost is $20 for participants, must weigh in prior to the wrestle off. The fee will be covering a certified UHSAA official, a team shirt if you make the team, and a portion of your team fee for the event. 

Boys weight allowance:  1lb for Elementary & 2lbs for Jr. High

November 6th: Elementary Wrestle-Offs

&

November 13th: Jr. High Wrestle-Offs

Weigh-Ins: 5:40pm - (Both Dates)

 Competition: 6pm-8:30pm (Both Dates)

Weigh ins will happen right before wrestle offs start.

MUST REGISTER BY NOVEMBER 3rd to guarantee  Elementary a wrestle off!

MUST REGISTER BY NOVEMBER 10th to guarantee  Jr. High  a wrestle off!

BIGGEST YOUTH DUAL TOURNAMENT IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST

This is a USAW sanctioned event so all wrestlers must have a USA Card

Junior High Division - 8th grade and below

Weight classes: 71,77,83,87,92,97,102,106,110,119,130,149,187,265 (14)

• No weight allowance and must weigh in with competition singlet or two piece uniform.
• Wrestlers can not be wrestling in High School to compete in the duals (must be 8th grade or younger)
• We will be capping the event at 16 teams. We will run a 16 team line bracket and then break out to pools for the final 3 duals. 

Elementary Division - 6th grade and below

Weight classes: 45,49,54,59,63,67,71,74,78,84,92,100,117,135 (14)

• No weight allowance and must weigh in with a competition singlet or two piece uniform.
• Wrestlers must be in elementary school (6th grade and below)
• We will be capping the event at 16 teams. We will wrestle a 16 team line bracket.

*Schedule is tentative and may change based on number of teams. If it changes it will not be significant changes though.

  • Weigh ins 5:00pm-6:00pm onsite or can be via satellite but must be scheduled with your team for a satellite weigh in.

  • USA Wrestling National Team coaches are offering a clinic 11am-3pm for all wrestlers on a Christmas Clash Dual team will have free entry to this camp for no extra cost.

• Friday, December 29th
  • 7:45am: Building opens
  • 8:30am: Girls JH starts (4 rounds - 4 duals each)
  • 9:00am: Boys JH starts (5 rounds - 5 duals each)
  • 1:30pm: Boys Elementary 1st half of teams start
  • 3:00pm: Boys Elementary 2nd half of teams start
  • 4:15pm: Boys Elementary all teams (3 more rounds)
  • 8:00pm: Boys Elementary finishes all rounds
