So. UT Christmas Clash Duals Wrestle Offs @ Millard HS

The cost is $20 for participants, this will be covering a certified UHSAA official, a team shirt (if you make the team), and a portion of your team fee for the event. You must weigh-in prior to wrestle-offs.

Boys wrestle-off weight allowance:  1lb for Elementary & 2lbs for Jr. High (For Wrestle-Offs ONLY!)

Schedule For Wrestle Offs:

December 3rd: Elementary Wrestle-Offs (Millard HS Wrestling Room)

&

December 4th: Jr. High Wrestle-Offs (Millard HS Wrestling Room)

Weigh-Ins: 5:40pm - Competition: 6pm-8:30pm (Both Dates)

Weigh ins will happen right before wrestle offs start.

MUST REGISTER BY DECEMBER 2nd to guarantee  a wrestle off spot!

BIGGEST YOUTH DUAL TOURNAMENT IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST

This is a USAW sanctioned event so all wrestlers must have a USA Card to wrestle off and compete.

Junior High Division - 8th grade and below

Weight classes: 71,77,83,87,92,97,102,106,110,119,130,149,187,265 (14)

• No weight allowance and must weigh in with competition singlet or two piece uniform.
• Wrestlers can not be wrestling in High School to compete in the duals (must be 8th grade or younger)
• We will be capping the event at 16 teams. We will run a 16 team line bracket and then break out to pools for the final 3 duals. 

Elementary Division - 6th grade and below

Weight classes: 45,49,54,59,63,67,71,74,78,84,92,100,117,135 (14)

• No weight allowance and must weigh in with a competition singlet or two piece uniform.
• Wrestlers must be in elementary school (6th grade and below)
• We will be capping the event at 16 teams. We will wrestle a 16 team line bracket.

*Schedule is tentative and may change based on number of teams. If it changes it will not be significant changes though.

• Thursday, December 26th
  • Weigh ins 5:00pm-6:00pm onsite or can be via satellite but must be scheduled with your team for a satellite weigh in. Wrestlers must show a printed USA card.
  • USA Wrestling National Team coaches are offering a clinic 11am-3pm for $59. There is a boys and girls camp. For more info (Click Here)

• Friday, December 27th
  • 7:45am: Building opens
  • 8:30am: JH Boys & Elementary Boys rounds 1,2 & 3 
  • 12:15pm: lunch break (time is approximate but we will take a 30 minute break for lunch after round 3)
  • 12:45pm: JH Boys & Elementary Boys rounds 4 & 5
  • 3:30pm: Girls duals begin (4 rounds - 4 duals each)
