Coaches on the Mat (Back in the Day)

You see these guys in the corners of wrestling mats every weekend.  Here is a chance to see them on the mat in their High School heydays.  Here is your first installment.  If you are a coach and would like to be featured, or a fan who has access to matches from days of yore, let me know.  

SONS OF ATLAS: ANDrew Hochstrasser

Before becoming the face of SOA, and even before he was 2x PAC 12 Champion a 2X All-American and NCAA Finalist for Boise State, not to mention 2x World Cup Team Member, 4th at the 2012 Olympic Team Trials, 2x US Open Finalist and 2x Pan Champion, Andrew Hochstrasser was a 4X State Champion for the Tooele Buffalos. Here is one of those matches.  



PAYSON HIGH: JEB CLARK

Jeb Clark was a 2X State Champion for Spanish Fork High, a HS All American,  NJcaa All American at Northwest College, and a Captain at UVU.  Clark now leads the Payson Lions who finished second in 5A this year and won a title in 4A.  Jeb also led the Lions to titles in 2014 and 2015.  



Maple Mountain: Max Sultan

Max Sultan currently leads the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles.  He is a Georgia native, he wrestled for Whitewater High School where he had a successful career and wrestled as a UVU Wolverine.  He will look to rebuild a successful program  at Maple Mountain.  



Westlake: Cody Burdett



Team Utah: Jade Rauser

Jade Rauser is a UVU Legend, has his own movie, and is USA Wrestling Utah's Developmental Coach.  He wrestled for Broadwater High school in Townsend, MT.  where he won 4 titles, compiled a 175-0 record, Junior National Triple Crown Winner and a Pan-American Games Champion
